Tell us about your project! How can people get involved?

Last year, I was fortunate to be a part of incredible group of teens, Champions for a Cure, that raised over $80,000 for blood cancer research.  While I knew very little about leukemia and lymphoma prior to my work with Change4Good, I quickly learned that many families in my state of NJ were faced with life threatening diagnosis and that my team and I had helped to contribute to the fight to fund groundbreaking research for these families. This year, I hope to lead my team to raise $50,000 and more.  As candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) student of the year I will campaign for 7 weeks (Jan 16,2020-Mar 7,2020) to raise awareness and funds for blood cancers.  If you would like to contribute to my campaign, you can visit me at my fundraising page at https://events.lls.org/nj/trentonsoy20/jgorfin
