Tell us about your project! How can people get involved?

During early 2020, Brayton and I brainstormed community outreach ideas on how we can help people through tough times, particularly the elderly and the homeless. We came up with a program called Spread the Smile that has allowed us to connect with people in need by sending them inspirational letters and cards. Our first outreach was with an organization called Helping Hands of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We created cards with personalized messages that included artwork on each card. Helping Hands connected us with Bethesda Project, a homeless shelter outside of Philadelphia, that houses homeless adults. We asked family members and friends to help us create 30 personalized cards that we sent to the shelter. We also partnered with our school district to help provide cards and artwork that we could send out. The students helped us with cards that we sent to a local food cupboard, and elderly home.

Kyle and Tyler Stricof inspired us to use their platform, the Change4Good Foundation, to help expand our reach of Spread the Smile. If you are interested in helping, you may send us an email to inquire about our program, Spread the Smile.
